KROHNE welcomes you to SPS 2023 in Nuremberg!
As one of the largest international trade fairs for the process industry, this year's SPS is themed "Bringing Automation to Life" .
At our booth in Hall 4A - 451 you will find a comprehensive portfolio of measurement solutions, which this year are directly focused on the topic of digitalization and process safety. Under the motto "Expertise you can trust - Safety solutions by KROHNE", we will be presenting the latest trends and product innovations in the field of digitalization and plant safety. Find out about our products, solutions and services in advance here, or make an appointment with one of our specialists and secure a free ticket.
As a special feature, this year we are once again offering you a visit in digital form at SPS: Book a live appointment with one of our experts, who will guide you virtually around the booth with a camera.
Whether live or digital, we look forward to your visit!
Safety solutions by KROHNE
The safety of people, the environment and process plants is not only top priority for our customers. We also focus all our activities on the protection of your employees and facilities. To this end, we develop and produce safety solutions in four areas: Functional Safety (SIL), Explosion Protection, Cyber Security and Occupational as well as Process Safety. We are looking forward to discuss these topics with you directly at the fair.
As a highlight, we present the FOCUS-1 intelligent process node. Developed together with SAMSON, the device combines a valve, flow meter, pressure transmitter, temperature sensor and unique diagnostic and control functions. In the drinking water sector, it finds applications, for example, in the intelligent automatic filling of elevated tanks.
Inlets and outlets for flow measurements remain a hot issue: many applications do not offer the appropriate installation conditions to maintain the recommended or required straight inlet and outlet runs. KROHNE presents the appropriate "0D/0D portfolio" for this purpose, consisting of the WATERFLUX water meter, the OPTIFLUX for wastewater, and the AF-E 400 for auxiliary and supply circuits, which can be used without straight inlet and outlet sections.
Intelligent sensors from KROHNE – ready for the IIoT
The IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) is the driver for the Process Industry 4.0. It links the process, its sensors and actuators to the automation and IT systems. This opens up unimagined insights and diverse possibilities for process optimisation. To exploit these possibilities, KROHNE relies on standardised, open interfaces. Using a live demonstrator, our experts will show you examples from the areas of Ethernet-APL, OT/IT Bridge as well as cloud-based software solutions.
Automated partial proof testing
Partial proof testing in general offers great opportunities to overall increase plant safety and reduction of proof test efforts. Since a few years it is also possible to partially proof test sensing elements, such as flowmeters, pressure meters, etc.
At the trade fair booth, we will use a demonstrator to show you in detail how these partial proof tests can now also be carried out completely automatically and how operators can use these options to optimize safety loops acc. to IEC 61508.
